Wendy Folsom
Wendy was trained by Katherine Farmer and was a student researcher on her team. Katherine’s work not only changed what Wendy could do as a writer, but empowered the way she looked at the story of her own life. She has been teaching, analyzing, and writing about the Story Code™ System for over a decade. Wendy has a bachelor’s in Theatre Performance with an emphasis in Playwriting, where her plays and dramaturgy won national awards, including two fellowships to the Kennedy Center. She recently graduated with a masters in Communication and Storytelling Studies from East Tennessee State University. She and Amy are the first officially licensed Story Code analysts.
Amy White
Amy White is a literature specialist, and one of a handful of licensed Story Code™ Analysis experts with the keys to cracking the story code. Amy has been instrumental in working with Katie Farmer for over a decade to develop and promote her work. JANET LOW
Janet Low is licensed with the patent-pending Farmer System of Narrative Analysis (aka The Story Cone™) as a masterclass teacher, story analyst, and coach. As an Associate Library Director overseeing the collection, reference services, and programming, Janet has tracked publishing trends, story quality, and appeal for four decades. She delights in discussing books and films at conference presentations, while teaching children’s literature and storytelling at BYU, or giving one-on-one reader’s advisory. As the coordinator for the annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival for twenty years, Janet basked in the enjoyment of oral storytelling, performance, and the richness brought to the story experience by a shared audience.
